The Calibre

Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier

At the heart of every Waltz N°1 beats a customised SEED VMF 5401 micro-rotor calibre, developed and manufactured by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, one of Switzerland's most respected high-end movement makers.

Measuring just 2.6 mm in height, the ultra-thin construction features an off-centre micro-rotor in 22K gold, allowing the movement to remain remarkably slim while delivering a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

Every bridge and plate is hand-finished with traditional decorations: Geneva stripes on the bridges, perlage on the mainplate, hand-polished anglage on every edge, and the rotor engraved with the Roulet Magides monogram in gold.

Our Origins

Born in the Swiss Alps

Roulet Magides is an independent horological maison rooted in Chateau-d'Oex, a village of quiet beauty in the Swiss canton of Vaud. Here, surrounded by alpine meadows and centuries-old traditions of precision craft, we create timepieces that honour the past while speaking to the present.

Our watches are produced in deliberately limited series, each one numbered and assembled with an attention to detail that only small-scale production allows. We work closely with the finest Swiss component suppliers, from movement manufactures to dial artisans, ensuring every element meets our exacting standards.

The relationship between maker and collector is central to what we do. We believe a fine watch is not simply bought; it is understood, appreciated, and ultimately passed on.

Materials & Craft

The Pursuit of Perfection

Every detail is considered. Every surface is finished. Every component is chosen with intention.

Swiss-Made Components

Every component is sourced from specialist Swiss ateliers. Cases are machined and finished in-house, dials are hand-textured with traditional guilloché, and crystals are cut from scratch-resistant sapphire.

Hand-Stitched Straps

Our calfskin straps are handcrafted from the finest European leathers, hand-stitched with waxed thread, and fitted with quick-release spring bars for effortless changes between brown and taupe.

Lifetime Service

Every Roulet Magides timepiece is supported by lifetime service in our Chateau-d'Oex workshop and through selected partners in London and other major cities. Your watch is cared for, always.
